Co-op Without Host Online?

Is there a way to make it so you can play on a server without the host being online? So basically the server is always open?

In another game I play they have something called dedicated servers that are open 24/7. But I don't know about Stardew Valley. Nor do I know how to get them. Someone who has more brains and knowledge than I do will likely be on and hopefully better able to answer you. Good luck

The only way I can find to do it is this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2677

But it hasn't been updated in years, and even if it were up-to-date, the way SDV multiplayer works in general (at least as I understand it - I only play solo myself) means it's not ideal for anyone to play for very long without everyone else.
