This fish is the only thing I find that is extremely rage inducing about this game. There is no way to catch this thing. Its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ impossible. I manage to catch the other 3 legendary fishes at lvl 8 or 9 fishing with no cork bobber.

This SoB on the other hand. I had to eat a +3 fishing food at max fishing level along with cork bobber and still no way to catch it. Its movement is way toogod dam erratic. How is it even remotely possible to catch it.

Try using the Trap Bobber, +1 Fishing Rod Enchant, Seafoam Pudding (+4 Fishing), wear either 1 or 2 Lucky Rings and fish on a good luck or best luck day.

This way you will have Level 15 Fishing, +1 or +2 additional luck on top of the daily luck and Trap Bobber will make it harder to lose when you are not reeling it in.

It's almost as hard as the Legend but I've caught it a bunch of times. Someone even caught it at Iridium-quality before the Quality Bobber was fixed, meaning they literally never let it escape the fishing bar a single time while they were reeling it in.

The biggest mistake you can make is moving your fishing bar to where it's not going to be when the bar gets there.

Another vote for the trap lure; much better than the cork one for difficult, fast moving, erratic fish.

I find it harder than the legend. I can't get that thing without the trap bobber, it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ monster. Trap's way better than cork, use that.

Trap Bobber, ♥♥♥♥ ton of bait, Seafoam Pudding or Lobster Bisque, and a ton of patience. Personally i'd recommend Lobster Bisque over Seafoam since it's a lot easier to get and mass farm for legendary fishing. Not like you'll need a lot, 1-2 of those Lobster soups should be enough.

Glacier fish is way more challenging than The Legend. It is the only fish I need a fishing buff and trap bobber in order to catch. Fish Stew is usually good enough. Gives +3 fishing and the ingredients are fairly easy to obtain from your farm pond.

Having done the self inflicted torture of bamboo pole only I have to say that Legend is the harder of the two. Only fish as of 1.3 that I couldn't catch with the bamboo pole. Haven't tried the new fish that way yet to evaluate them.

Easily caught it. You want a ididium rod with a trap bobber. The bobber is expensive to craft AND buy but its the only way. really. That or a cark, but trap is better.
Also it can only be caught in certain times in Winter.

Really? I could swear you could catch it at any time of the day and in any weather, as long as the season was right. The only fish that has more specific requirements afaik is the Legend, which can only be caught in rain and, I think, not in any time of the day.

I think the hardest fish to catch is the Octopus, I caught all the Legendary fish fairly easily, with level 10 fishing and iridium rod, cork bobber and food, but I cannot catch the octopus. I think It should be made a Legend fish.
