Do i really need so many flute blocks?

I am trying to get all the golden walnuts...ONLY PROBLEM IS ONE OF THEM IS ONLY OBTAINABLE by getting a ton of flute blocks and placing them by stones and tuning them. Only problem is, you can only get a flute block naturally once by donating the bone flute to museum and the others are craft only. Only problem with THAT is that I am pretty sure the recipe is in one of Robin's heart events. Only problem with THAT is I am at only 1 heart with that NPC. Only problem with THAT is I tried it and it takes one in-game year to get to ten hearts if you hurry, and I know it isn't that many hearts but still im six or seven away! Even if I had recipe, only problem with THAT is I need bone flutes to craft a flute block! Only problem with THAT is that getting that individual artifact is SUPER hard. Only problem with THAT is if I used my one from the museum and the rest from crafting I need 4 BONE FLUTES. Devs can you make them either easier to get or not needing 5 but just one?! please help!!!

This game is meant to be played over several hours (some have played the same save file for years, as in real-life years), not rushed through, so that is likely the cause of your being unable to finish this quest quickly. It's not that kind of game, where you can rush through.

On the other hand, there are mods for that. I'm sure somebody here can direct you to one, as I don't use them myself. I tend to destroy computers and consoles when doing that sort of thing.

Oh, and as for the hearts quest: my trick is to ply all the adult characters with beer, so if you need Robin's hearts to be up to a certain level, wait until she's in the bar, and buy her a frosty one. It'll still take time, yes, but beer seems to be a favorite of a great many, if not their ultimate fave.

Otherwise, it just takes time, and there are a lot of things to do that also take time in this game, so ... good luck?

I'd be willing to wager most people would have seen Robin's heart event before so much as setting foot on Ginger Island, you seem to be beelining it and rushing hard. If you just take your time and not ignore Robin this isn't an issue, it's much easier to craft five flute blocks than to get to Ginger Island in the first place.
Btw, you don't need bone flutes to craft it, only wood fiber and copper. You need one bone flute to receive the block from the museum, but crafting it is very easy.

Iridium Quality Goat Cheese is not difficult to obtain if you are on Ginger Island. If you are lucky enough to also be around Fall before Robins birthday then to get her 6 Heart event that rewards the Flute Block recipe would take less than 3 weeks tops.

I don't quite understand why, but you have this idea that this task is unreasonably difficult and it's warping your perception of reality.

It only takes 6 Hearts with Robin to get the recipe and you're at one heart (so between 250 and 499 Friendship), which means you need 4 or 5 more Hearts, not 6 or 7.

The recipe does not involve any artifacts, it takes Wood, Copper Ore and Fiber which are all exceedingly common and easy-to-get materials.

My most recent playthrough was as "Ginger Island" playthrough in which I make the island farm my main farm, and I got the Flute Block recipe in the middle of Summer 1, Year 1. I started with 0 Friendship and not enough resources to start giving her gifts right away, and it still only took a month and a half.

My suggestion? Stop panicking and perform this very easy task.

I now realize I played this game for three real life years and I don't even have the patience to give Robin gifts and dif up artifacts on a save where I have a statue of endless fortune and perfection (Not true perfection tho) Wow.

if you have enough frienship heart with Robin she will give you a recipe for the flute block as well as a recipe for the drum block
