Personally I never had much use for it. You can however make "Slime eggs" in the slime egg-press out of 100 slime globs which sell for 1000g (green), 1750g (cyan/blue), 2500g (red) and 5000 (purple).

IIRC, after building that you get a chance of any slime (in Secret woods and in the mines) dropping slime egg together with regular drops - additional profit from selling those.
Or you can use it for breeding slimes - they would drop slimeballs (a lot of extra slime + a chance for petrified slime) if you keep them watered. But it's another chore you would have to do daily to water and collect, and all for not that much profit. Of cource if you're in dire need of slime than it's an option... But how much slime would one farmer need after all?
Another option is to turn it into extra storage, but a delux barn would house more of anything with a much smaller footprint.
Or just build it and then demolish - chance for slime eggs wouldn't disappear.
Or just don't bother with it at all - your choice.

Yes. It unlocks slime egg drops, worth 1k-5k, I think. Free money. You can destroy the building immediately after, if you want.

I only build ones when I'm overstocked with materials I don't know where else to use lol. It's a completely and utterly useless feature. Ape should either take it down and make up something better for it, or take it down and remove it completely from the game code.
