Shane's 8 heart event not triggering.

I've seen this be posed before, but it's not helping. It's a Spring Sunday of my year 2 save. I gave him a bouquet at 8 hearts and now at 10 hearts, which the event also hasn't triggered for. I'm there for all characters that live on Marnie's Ranch to be there before Jas leaves at 11 am.

I haven't triggered it and have triggered most of his heart events except 6 hearts, and 7 hearts I. I've also tried exiting the game to restart the day and it hasn't helped. I am not married to Shane yet and not dating any other characters

Does anyone have any recommendations to what could be going wrong? Should I not be dating him? Do I have to trigger those events first? or am I better off starting over?

I think you need to trigger the earlier ones first. The one that happens when it's raining is usually the hold up

Hmm, I'll try and trigger it, rain hasn't been appearing but I def will try it first.
