True Perfection help D:

Hey so uh, probably a stupid question.. I'm like 300 hours into my playthrough and I've been grinding to reach true perfection for quite a while now. I did all the recipes, shipped every item, befriended everyone.. and I crafted every item, or so I thought.

Turns out I need to craft the Wedding Ring which can only be obtained from the Travelling Cart in Multiplayer mode. You wouldn't believe my frustration.

Can I simply receive the Wedding Ring recipe if I just have a friend of mine enter my farm through multiplayer??

if i remember correctly you will get the recipe in the mail. you could try hosting your farm (without anyone joining you) and that may give you the recipe after a few days.

The recipe isn't received in the mail. It must be purchased from the Traveling Cart.

The wedding ring only needs to be crafted if your save file is multiplayer. If you've only played single player on that farm, it doesn't need to (and can't) be crafted. But to answer your initial question: Yes, having a friend join your farm briefly would allow you to buy the recipe. It will always appear in the Traveling Cart's inventory (until purchased) in multiplayer. As soaringfreedom suggested, it may even be possible to do so without anyone actually joining in multiplayer, but I'm not certain.

You don't need to craft it for a solo file. If you've had people play with you before, then... probably.

It says on that Stardew Checkup website that I need two more recipes to craft, I know what both of them are and one is from Ginger Island. I've also had a friend join my farm once before but it was on my throwaway file when I did a JoJa route.
