Community Cleanup quest help/tips

I am struggling to fish out any trash. I always end up getting a lot of fish but barely any trash and failing the quest. What are some good spots to complete this quest? Any other tips also appreciated.

This one can be a pain if the player already has Lvl 10 Fishing. The player farm is a good spot for it unless you have the riverland or beach map. Otherwise, place a handful of crab pots anywhere. As long as you don't have the Mariner perk that prevents them from catching trash, they should get a decent amount of trash.

I found that fishing on level 100 of the mines always seems to give me a good amount of trash items which can count towards the Community Cleanup quest.

Fish in a pond on the beach farm, that's how I got it all in my beach file. Didn't even take a day.

if you have access to it: fish in lava in the mines or at the volcano, the only fish living there is the lava eel, the rest is trash.
Also you can use crab pots to get 1 item a day (or low level fish : crayfish, shrimp)

You can totally do it if you have lots of fish traps in the ocean and refill them with bait every day

The little pool outside of the spa is all trash.

Great way is also collecting trash in crab pots, mostly on the farm

Definitely try at lvl 100 of the mine (lava area). I completed that quest in a day down there using a lure and bait. (Not sure why lure and bait would work on trash but it seems to help make things go a lot faster >.<)
