Need help about peper rex
Is there an easy way to find pepper rex? I've been trying to find it from morning to night in skull Cave and using food that raises luck and to do so especially on a lucky day, but the results are always difficult to finding pepper rex. So far only found 4 pepper rex

They're pretty rare on normal floors. The best way to find a lot of them is probably to focus on looking for prehistoric floors. From the wiki:
Prehistoric floors are a type of infested floor containing mainly Pepper Rex monsters. Mutant flies and Iridium Bats can also attack the player there. Dinosaur Eggs and Fiddlehead Ferns can be foraged on Prehistoric floors. Foliage on this floor has a chance to yield Ancient Seed when cut down. Below floor 6 there is a ~2.2% chance to encounter a prehistoric floor.
Luck and bombs can help in getting through floors faster, but the rest is up to RNG.

I seem to run into them a lot, but I visit the Skull Caverns once a week instead of using staircases so I've done some exploring haha.

As far as I've noticed, they're usually a little ways down (roughly 10 floors down and below) and almost never spawn by the ladder.

Other than that, the most tangible piece of advice I could give you would be to work towards finding an 'infested' floor - you'll most likely have the most luck finding one there. While I'm not sure if the luck stat would hurt or help you with finding this, I do have this to add from the wiki (though keep in mind this is under the Mines section, and I can't confirm whether this applies to the Skull Caverns).

'An infested floor will always be on the same floor for each day and goes up one floor the next day. For example, if an infested floor is found on floor 54 one day, it will be on 53 the next day, 52 the day after that, and so on. On some days, an infested floor might not be found because certain floors are excluded from being infested.'

I guess my rng is really bad, I've only found the prehistoric floor once so far and never found it again

If you have nothing against "cheating" a little there actually is a cool tool I found just recently that gives you predictions about where you might find those darn pepper rexes.
This is the tool: Stardew Predictor[mouseypounds.github.io]

Now don't forget to read and follow the instructions! :brownchicken:

Good. The predictor can really help and it predicts way more than potential spots for pepper rexes by the way. Apparently the traveling cart lady is planning to sell a piece of stone this week (in game) for 700 gold... Such a scammer! ò_ó

You might be able to use Monster Musk? It probably doesn't help find infested floors, but it makes more monsters appear on normal floors.

I've used that, still not very good, the results are mostly only serpents and peper rex only appear 1 when I use that item for almost 2 weeks in the game

What I did was buy a bunch of staircases from the desert trader, then I just brute forced finding prehistoric floors. It took me between 300-400 staircases to get the kills I needed, but I think I had a handful of kills when I started.
