legendary fish.
What do you guys do with your legendary fish? I have one, it's seems a waste to just sell it or even eat it. can it go in a fish tank? i feel theses one offs should be displayed some how.

I sold my mutant carp (a waste indeed), but placed recently caught crimsonfish into a fish tank. I guess the guy above mixed up fish tank and fish pond.

Yeah I usually put mine in fish tanks too. It has become mandatory for me to dedicate a room or sometimes even a whole small shed to fish! :brownchicken:

I just keep them to mindlessly add to my display in the fall fair

I like to keep all the legendary's in a fish tank, with all their offspring from that insanely hard mr qi fish quest side by side. But ya the children keep spawning with the renewal of that quest the original don't ever, if you're a completion-est try to hold off going for the legendary's until you get that fancy new quality hook, and linus's super bait.

I'm pretty sure I accidently turned them into sashimi...

This happened in my first playthrough with that stupid Mutant Carp. I was really upset when I realised it had been turned into dinner. You would think that particular portion of sashimi would have some strange side effects. But Linus enjoyed it. :brownchicken:

I think that was the first moment where I seriously looked up the Stardew wiki (I usually avoid spoiling myself with these too soon) to find out what these fish can be used for. I was feeling a mix of relief and disappointment that they serve no greater purpose (no quest, no special recipe, no acknowledgment by Willy or the village etc.)

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed by this too. I thought something spectacular would happen once you had all of them. Like them merging together into one big fish boss, or maybe unlocking a secret area with more... Fish stuff. But they are a nice piece of decor at least o.o
