If you haven't completed the bug kill achievement with the adventurer's guild, you could safely finish that in relatively short order and get the reward sword.
Depending on how much you're focused on finishing on a schedule vs finishing with real world time, you could theoretically grind those floors for the sword, and then just restart the day if the sword doesn't drop.
Just a thought, but if you want to play it safe, keep a stockpile of 2nd and 3rd best weapons at home in the future in case that accidentally happens again. Even if you only plan on using one weapon all game, it's sometimes good to have extra weapons in case a niche situation crops up (without spoilers, I've traded damage for speed on my weapons a few times to save on all the hits I'd normally take otherwise).
