Lightning rods outside of farm?
If you place lightning rods outside of your farm, can they still get struck by lightning and produce battery packs? For example, if I put some near the bus stop?

I don't think so, since nothing outside your farm ever gets struck my lightning...

I have a storm coming up, so we will see...

Please tell if it worked or not. Because these rods are ugly and i would prefer to keep them out of my farm

Or use them as fences. Or behind your barn, coop, greenhouse...
I usually put mine either by the selling bin or by grandpa's shrine, depending on which map it is...

But you were bothered by the fact they were ugly... if you don't see it, why would it bother you?

I prefer my farm clean and neat without things "under the rug"

Yeah, I guess I kinda misinterpreted you. And about the actual topic of the thread... I don't think that will work.

I dont think it worked, I placed four in the little garden area right below where you enter town from your farm before a stormy day. I saw no battery packs :/
