Any advice how to follow this note? it's a house and arrows pointing in random directions., not really sure how to follow them as they don't seem to link up,

If you know where to start, go in the direction the arrow points until you can't go that way anymore.

I still don't understand how to follow it, if i start at the house an arrow says go right and then up. and that's it.. if i go left the arrows just points up. so how can i follow all the other arrows when none of them connect. One of the boxes has a tick on it, but none of the arrows take you their as i've explained.

You start at the house and then follow each of the 10 arrows. After you go the direction the 10th arrow pointed you in and come to a stop, the check mark means you're where you need to be.

if i stand in front of the house all the arrows are in front of the house but they all point in random different directions, so from the front door i have arrows either side of me, so i assume i either need to take the left path or the right path (one possibly a dead end) but neither direction connects with any of the other arrows. Must be missing something very obvious, Unless the start is the box with the tick, i haven't tried that yet, going by the map it would be somewhere on the beach.

The arrows aren't arranged in relation to the house and green square that mark the starting point. Read the arrows from left to right, top to bottom (as if you were reading words), walking in each specified direction until you hit an obstacle. When you reach the end, right-click on the ground.

Move into the direction of the first arrow and keep moving until you hit a barrier and cannot move any further into that direction. There are stones, rocks, houses, other buildings around that will stop you in your track. That's when you know that one arrow is "done" and the next one is now the direction you will need to take. You will eventually move away from the house and around various places.

Ok, i'll have another look at it. It doesn't really make it clear how to follow.
I'm kinda surprised anyone was able to work it out.

I actually wasn't, I looked up the Stardew wiki. :-I

But I guess it makes sense. At first I thought I had to "dance" around in short range around the starting spot too. It's not like in treasure fiction or stuff that following one way until you hit a barrier is all too rare I think. So yeah, I guess we're just dumb. :-(

You can assume that most people have it from the Wiki. I tried to hack in that "code" in front of the door a couple times, too.

Nah-uh, you're not dumb. Like esturias pointed out, I think it is safe to assume many people have used the wiki for help. Same with information provided here on the forums. Lots of it comes from the wiki even if it is not directly quoted. I think I only did this puzzle once. Not gonna spoil anything but for me the reward was a bit underwhelming xP

I seems i did the other note accidently.. which is quite ironic considering the reward lol
