how to be efficient during multiplayer

Me and 3 friends are wanting to start a multiplayer world. Any tips on how we can maximise our efficiency as a four man we're also playing on four corners farm

I personally find four corners to be painful compared to the cabins nearby super helpful for sharing items you might need but having the person with it being not next to you can be a waste of time but isn't a super big deal. As far a being efficient, having 4 people means you can divide up stuff such as farming, fishing, mining, and foraging so each person can focus on one specific thing allowing them to get to a max level faster which will allow for all the craftables from that line, also early game money can be hard to come by since farming takes a bit before you can make money and since the miens take some time to open up I suggest as soon as Willy comes to town all four of you fishing until mines open because fishing early on allows for really good money to purchase such things as crops, and backpack upgrades. I also suggest using the shared money system because it makes purchasing items easier for everyone and just ask/consult on buying stuff. Also because there is four of you I would highly suggest checking the board outside of Pierre's everyday aka the person heading to mines, fishing, or forging as well to check to see if a quest is posted so you can all complete the quest, keep in mind some quests early on might ask for copper ore for Clint before the mines even open up so just ignore those and don't take them. Also there is little time consumption within farming early game until you get Barns, and Coops so I would suggest who ever is farming help fish or mine based on what needs to get done early on if you want money then helping fish but if you want more energy since the last level of the mines has a stardrop you can rush through the mines faster with two people, as far as Winter goes level up mining for those who are a lower level of it to get them ready for Skull Cavrens in the Desert because 4 people with high mining and good quality pickaxes will make Skull Cavrens a whole lot easier. These are just my personal suggestions as I have played multiple multiplayer farms with the same group of people and have found this method to work amazing for efficiency but in the end it's all up to you as a group on what you decide, cheers and have fun in the game with your friends <3

Mine and fish together. You can have one person clear out a floor and as soon as they find the ladder, drop down, while their partner gets all the ores from the current floor. In multiplayer, time doesn't pause while fishing, so the more people fishing at a time, the more profitable it is.

For Foraging, though, that's typically a 1 person job. Have one person do a lap of the forest or beach or whatever; there's no point in all 4 going.

For Farming, I guess it depends how you set up your farm? Like... If you've got 4 mini-farms, that's technically less efficient than 1 large farm. You could each grow your own crops, for example, but you should have 1 shed of kegs that you all share, or something. Alternatively, have one person do all the farm chores and farming, while the other 3 head to the mines.
