Who is best wife?

I was dating Penny and everything was fine till the scene of Vincent saying she was with Sam, then I look into the wiki and it said that when you marry her she stays at home and helps with garden and feeding animals but "sometimes". Does this happen with every villager?

Honestly in terms of personality, I love Maru because while she's a bit socially awkward in a sciency nerdy way, she's very kind and loving towards her husband/wife.

Exactly, they serve no purpose and act all the same. Wish they did more with that part of the game.

yeah :/ there are probably more immersive spouse mods tho? not sure tho and maybe in a future update there will be more to do with them?

I'm currently testing out the multiple spouses mod to see how many spouses you can have and their effects. Since I also am using the SVE, i have alot more choices. currently I have 8 spouses now, 7 wives and one husband, and everything is working ok. Those who have jobs still go to their jobs everyday, and they take turns giving water to the dog.
So far 4 wives have asked to have a baby and one baby has been born.
And I'm only on day 19 of summer, year one.

One major difference, is Penny asked to redecorate the bedroom, and it turned out great. Never saw that happen with any spouse in previous play through. She also added random pieces of furniture to the house. So if you want help with decorating your house, marry Penny.

Yeah I think Penny is a good spouse, what about Emily? I read that you couldn't marry her before but thanks to a new update you can now

I'm engaged to Elliot now, will be married to him soon.
Also, my crib currently has FOUR babies in it, even though every thing I've read says you can only have 2 children. I have 7 wives and 2 husbands, so my house is very busy. Will keep you posted.
