Or well, it was until recently. Funny how the guarantee was implemented at the same time the feature was essentially made redundant.
However, in 1.5, you can now also just get the seeds as a drop in skull cavern.
Or if you're lucky, enter skull cavern, have it drop immediately and then don't need to visit the vendor as regularly anymore. ;)
Its still an event. its not simply given to you but still year 1 accomplishable. that said why would you want to do this?
