Can i do Shane's 8 heart event after marrying him
I married Shane, then someone told me u can get blue chickens and i tried to just buy them and nothing worked. I looked up the problem and apparently u have to do Shane's 8 heart event which i have not done, and i think he has to still be living with marnie but since i married him hes living with me. Can i still do his 8 heart event?

Have you tried going into Marnie's house during a time that he *would* be there and trigger the scene if he weren't married to you? I don't know how the coding works exactly, but if you tried it at a time/on a day he wouldn't normally be there when single, maybe that made the difference.

Like the game may be checking "is it such and such a time on such and such a day" and not literally whether his sprite is there anymore.

His page on the Stardew wiki will have his full schedule written up.

I've read that he still visits Marnie's Ranch on Mondays from 10:30 to 11:30 and that the event can be triggered during that time.

@ed: According to several posts I've seen, events that require a character to be at a certain location do require them to actually be present, even after marriage. This reportedly prevents at least a couple of heart events from being possible to trigger while married, though I've never had the chance to test it.
