How to transfer save files between two mobile devices

I’m not sure if this is possible, but I’m really hoping it is. I’ve created a save file and a backup save on one mobile device, and have moved those files to the shared iCloud. However, I can’t figure out how to transfer the file onto a different mobile device. Am I missing something, or is this just not possible?
