What's the best way to get a prismatic shard?

Hey, I need a prismatic shard to get married with my friend in the game, but actually it is so hard to get it. I have 10 rainbow trout, the quarry, I'm fishing a lot and mining too but nothing, 0 prismatic shard.
Does anybody know a good way to get it fast? Thanks

Well, everyone pretty much told you where to find them. I would also like to suggest you to increase your luck with buffs. A good one I always use is by making tons of pumpking soup as it's easy to make. Last time I went to the skull cavern I came with 2 of them

i got mine from those tiny coal minions in the mines while i was looking for the prismatic slime

this is underrated. luck buffs make a huge difference esp when you go lower in the skullcaves.

each level generates procedurally, and you can really tell when you get a bad roll lol.
