When you first arrive at the volcano dungeon, there's a one-way passage locked behind a switch. The forge in the 10th level has an exit taking you across that door, which allows you to press the switch and unlock a two-way shortcut to the end of the dungeon. However, there's no other way to choose a specific floor like the elevator in the mines. Even if you take that shortcut and go from the forge to the floor directly preceding it, you'll be blocked by a door linked to a switch you can't reach.
The quick path to the forge aside, you can also pay a parrot to make an one-way shortcut from the shop in floor 5 back to the entrance. However, it is only an one way shortcut. There's no quick access to floor 5 from the start of the dungeon.
