strange capsule

i heard a ufo and found this on my farm in fall year 2.

i picked it up and put it down inside my house.
after some time, it was broken open.

I ran accross the whole valley 2x, and nothing seemed diff.
was i supposed to place this somewhere specifically?

what is it do?

same answer to your other reply, wiki says nothing on what it does after it shows up.

Just decorations.

As Tristin had said it is just a decoration for the game, the thing breaking is just a cool effect related to it.

If you want to wait hours or days for a reply that MIGHT not even give the answer you want, you post on the forums.

Seriously nothing wrong with telling someone to "google it"

When I first found the strange capsule, I literally googled it on the Stardew Wiki, got my answer, boom done.

You leave it, it breaks, you have a 1% chance of seeing a black figure waving at you at the bustop at night.
