Shrine of Challenge

will the Mines always be the newer case after I'v got the Mr.Qi's quest? I don't know if this is a bug, since the Mines is always the newer case no matter the Shrine of Challenge is activated or inactivated. Some discussions show that if the Shrine of Challenge is inactivated, the Mines will go back to the older case. But in my game, it will only make the monsters' weaker, not changing the mines or monsters' type

It is not a bug. When you receive quest from Mr. Qi to go to mines/skull cavern, respective location will reset. This is a different to Shrine of Challenge, not of the same occurrence.
When Shrine of Challenge is toggled, the affect is applied on next day.

Could the Radioactive Node be found if i choose the normal levels instead of dangerous levels?(after the affect is applied)
in the page of stardewcommunitywiki i found that "While the dangerous setting is active, Radioactive Nodes can be found in the Mines" but the problem is that Radioactive Nodes can be always found whether i choose normal or difficult mode...

That is weird. I actually tested, and mine does go back to normal difficulty. Monsters reverted to normal state as well as no more radioactive nodes.

Thanks a lot for your testing! It seems that there's something wrong with my Mines :( I need to report a bug now.
