Cave Entrance behind the Dig Site on Ginger Island

Anyone know how to access the cave entrance behind the dig site on Ginger Island?

I would like to know this too, seems like you would come in from the left but there doesn't seem to be a way to get there.

It's a bit of a fake-out with that one because that cave entrance... is actually a cave exit. Enter the Volcano and rather than going straight on down to the dungeon proper, use your Watering Can to form a path to the left. You'll discover an alcove at the end that you can exit from and boom, there ye be, friends.

ya, it took me so long to figure that out... i ran around the island for so long, i just ended up dl-ing the noclip mod to figure it out, then when i run in im like, well that was a waste of time lol.

still havent checked the cave on the beach map yet, the one in the bottom left corner blocked by water.

Lufia 2 taught me a thing or two when it comes to lava levels. I can understand how people can miss it though, exploring on a time constraint is frustrating.

Thanks, guys! I appreciate the help! It is an "exit"! HA! but I wanted to fish in that water- because you get a surprise there! And I was able to get there with your help!
I don't want to create another discussion post- so maybe you guys can help me with another matter...
How often does the "Danger in the Deep" quest come about? I attempted the quest twice, I think, in the beginning of playing the new update- and got a few radio active ore - but now the quest isn't showing up anymore. I have cycled through summer and fall but keep getting the thirsty/hunger one. Is this specific quest just random or is it set to some schedule? I need to build the last two recipes! Any help would be appreciated!

If you've completed Danger in the Deep, there'll be a new item for you to use on the 120th floor of the Mines called the "Shrine of Challenge." Using this shrine after completion of the quest will cause the Mines to be toggled to its more dangerous form the next day. If you want to set the Mines back to normal, just use the shrine again and it'll go back to the way it was the next day.

So you don't need Danger in the Deep active to get the ore; just complete it once and then use the shrine.

Shucks, thanks for that explanation! That makes the most sense out of everything I have tried to read about this. Looks like I will be grinding stone for many, many staircases.... because I just can't without them. There is never enough hours in the day for me to get to the very bottom- and I still carry the guilt for being called out on it when I did get to the bottom the first go before the update lol!!! Thanks again!

No problem. Staircases are definitely ideal, especially for the spiral floors or monster floors, but you can make good headway throughout the Mines through ample bomb usage.

If you're after Radioactive Ore, I've found that your daily luck seems to have a role in finding them so make sure to go on lucky days and be buffed for luck as well.
