Bird Gem Puzzle - island ginger

Whenever a colorful bird gave me a gem, I placed it on a pedestal.

but nothing happens, the gems I have are ruby, aquamarine, amethyst, topaz.

I tried to change position but nothing happens.

Do you have any suggestions?

AFAIK, you have to get a gem from each of the four corners of the map. Each type must be placed on the pillar representing the area of the island it came from.

But something must be randomized. In my game I've only got two gems so far, but the southern one is an emerald.

Place them in the direction you found them North east south west/ up right down left.

every time I received a gem I put it on the reference pedestal according to the cardinal points.
(example: amethyst in the north because the bird was there, aquamarine in the east, ruby in the west ...)

nothing happens, even with other combinations

There are some bugs in the update so maybe that, are you on version 1.5.1?

I checked, I confirm that it is version 1.5.1 I will try to play the puzle in the next few days, I hope it is not a decisive step for the continuation of the game. Thanks for your help :)

I would upload a video to youtube if you can and send a link to ConcernedApe showing the issue, I'm assuming he has plate full - plus the holiday coming up.

Anyways I think your missing out on only 3 golden walnuts, you can still get into the door by your island farm. Those challenges in there will keep you busy.

Update, after removing all the gems (I no longer remembered the exact order after changing their places several times)
the colorful bird routine has started again, this means I can redo the puzzle until I do it correctly. I have to Find the other 3.
