Step 2) Hold left click till the green bar fills then release
Step 3) Wait for a "Ding" noise and an exclamation mark over your character
Step 4) Keep the green bar over the fish until the gauge fills. Hold left click to make the bar go up, let go to make it drop.
With the fishing rod selected, click and hold the mouse button to fill the gauge which controls how far you will cast (usually you want to cast as far as possible, again to reach better Fishing Zones).
When the exclamation mark and sound manifest themselves, immediately click once to hook the fish.
Hooking the fish starts the main part of the minigame, where you control a rectangular bar's momentum and try to keep said bar on the fish.
higher fishing level make you easier to catch fish? what about better rod? make you able to catch even better fish?
but so far I catch better fish with my training rod? (which is green color rod, for some obvious reason?)
The Training rod gives you a functional Fishing skill level of 5 no matter what your actual Fishing skill is; it also makes it impossible to hook strong rare fish. The Fiberglass rod allows the use of bait, which causes fish to bite much, much more quickly. The Iridium rod also allows bait and additionally allows the use of tackles, which affect fishing in various ways.
