Splitscreen local co op with 2 X-box controllers working?
Is this game working great with splitscreen local co-op and 2 Xbox controllers?

Yes we play on tv. Works fine. But there are lots of freezes when it comes to changing locations. Almost unbearable. Is it fixable?

I mean going from one location to another. If player 1 goes from farm to town for example he has loading screen. But player 2 still playing on farm - he freezes for the time loading is processing for the player 1.

Technically there have only been 5, but they were all massive. They were basically dlc

Edit oops, that quote failed. Oh well

I've also noticed the game's UI doesn't seem adapted for split screen. It's vertical split screen, which is fine with me, but it means each person's half is not as wide. Things like letters from the mail and shop menus don't seem to adapt to this, and the left and right sides are obscured. It's not a ton, but it's enough to obscure words and stuff, so it's a problem. Anyone know how to get it to scale down or something?

I have the same problems in splitscreen and the game are crashing sometimes.

So i fixed my loading problems.
There was an issue with XNA framework. Deleted and installed one from steam. Works just fine now.

My cpu was under 100% load all the time before that

You need to change the resolution in options. I fixed that problem.

You can change the UI scaling in the options. For some reason it's not set at 100% by default for split screen.. Turning it down to 100% fixed this issue for me.

IT's something that can be adapted some. And tuned up. Though I have some odd issues with objects being placed around the farm by my extra player. Some times they can't put Home items and furniture down where wanted. And it doesn't always display the little shape of the object they're carrying around when they want to place things.
