You'd expect a Beach Farm to support Fishing, but it doesn't. If you want to fish, don't waste your time and bait there, it's a noob trap.
It's much better to take a little time to go to a real fishing spot and fish there, consistently getting fish on every cast.
To be fair, that's what the River Farm's perk is.
If they made the Beach farm also good for fishing...what would be the point of taking the River Farm?
When I minmax I most definitely go for the Riverlands farm.
Thanks to the quick access to water, you can restore the entire town (carts, bus, greenhouse, quarry, boulder) before the end of the first month!
I mean month.
It only costs 140,000g to restore the entire town, you can make well over 200,000g in the first month by fishing.
I've done the Community Centre twice already and I don't think I can do it again. It's just so beyond obnoxious. You've got a fantastic sandbox game here but the Community Centre has so many insane requirements, many of them gated behind seasons or even luck, that it takes over your entire gaming experience.
Being a slave is overrated. I enjoy freedom, so I pick Joja.
But the game doesn't give you a choice. Either you do absurdly obnoxious chores for weird magic creatures and essentially become a slave, or you support the evil company.
For some reason there's no option to have the work done by honest local entrepreneurs. You'd think that you could pay Robin to fix the Greenhouse and the Bridge, hire Clint to remove the boulder, or hire Maru to repair the Minecarts and the Bus, even if it costs more than doing it via Joja.
So, I'm guessing you're not interested in the new option that allows you to randomize what the bundles require.
(At least the quality no longer has to be the same for all items)
