Hum just an idea, how good is this game support for odd-resolution ?
Cause I think you can trick windows believing you have 1 display using some stuff from Nvidia control panel, so say you have 2 1080p screens, you can tell the windows it's in fact a 3840*1080 screen, and do split screen from there

I would definitely love this option if anyone can figure out a workaround or something.

Split screen coop was introduced with the new 1.5 update.

You can extend the split screen over two monitors when you change the settings/options, graphics, change the "graphics - window mode" to "Windowed", then stretch the game across both monitors. Works like a charm!

Works fantastic, just had to fiddle with the zoom a bit. Thanks for the tip!

for some reason this doesn't work anymore for me. I drag the window to the border of the second monitor, and the whole thing goes to the second monitor.

If you have Nvidia, go to the control panel, configure surround, PhysX, SPan Displays with Surround, set up the display and close out of the window, launch the game AFTER changing this, and ensure it's set to the resolution that spans across both screens. Now you just start the local coop and have the second controller press start.

Works fantastically.

This is exactly what I needed to play with my girlfriend. I have two different monitors, different sizes, resolutions, and refresh rates. No issues and perfectly splits the view evenly between both monitors. You can't do anything else without OCD kicking in, but it's perfect for how StarDew Valley does splitscreen.

Thank you a lot for the solution, I was looking to do the same thing with my girl and the Nvidia Surround option is perfect !
