Horse Suggestion
Having the Horse is definitely helpful to get around the valley faster, but being able to upgrade the horse to increase its speed would be pretty nice. And by that, I don't mean trading your old horse in for a newer model; the current horse is awesome (though for a future update I wouldn't be opposed to, when you build your Stable, that you get a choice of different colored horses and such).

What I mean, is being able to go to Clint and upgrading your horse via new Horseshoes. Much like tools, they'd start at Copper quality and go all the way up to Iridium. That said, the shoe process would take about two days to complete. The first day would be for Clint to make the Horseshoes and the second day would be Marnie coming to the ranch to take your Horse so that the new Horseshoes could be applied. Obviously for that time, neither Clint nor Marnie would be available for business given that they are working on your order.

I honestly wondered if we'd be able to ride the new ostriches to replace the horse. >_> I might be wrong but drinking coffee used to speed up your horse as well... so instead of a 30% speed boost, it was 40%.

Drinking Coffee does increase your move speed both on foot and on your Horse, but having to constantly dismount and down some java every couple of minutes gets old really fast. Granted, the Triple Shot Espresso items are far better in terms of managing your time instead of downing Coffee like a maniac but you will need a pretty substantial Crystarium operation going with Diamonds to trade with the Desert Merchant to maintain a steady supply.

Or you could buy the recipe from gus and make triple shot espresso with 3 regular coffees
