I absolutely love the features of this new update! I haven't gotten to them all, of course, but I discovered you can get your buildings painted at Robin's. It's free, and for color choices you get 3 sliding color bars like when your character is choosing eye color. Also, there is an icon that looks like 2 sheets of notepaper which, when clicked, will save that paint color so that you can do more buildings in that exact color. Right-clicking on the saved color will delete it. Unfortunately it will only do the exterior walls, not the roof, but still, I love it!

Haven't had this option yet (or I didn't find it), did you complete a special order from the new board for Robin or did it just happen like that ?

When you go to Robin's workshop/house and select to build new buildings, there is a small menu on the lower right including a paintbrush button, and the move buildings button. Paintbrush accesses the option to customize your farm buildings.

1. To paint, click the building you want,
2. top shows what element of the building you are painting. use arrows to shift between main, roof, and trim.
3. Use color sliders to adjust. Saving a color will add it to a palette you can use across multiple buildings.
4. Click save.

Thanks, it explains why I didn't find it since it's my year 6 save, I've pretty much everything I need built so I didn't look much there.

Edit: It works for the roof as well, and trims. That's a nice addition.

What are the requirements to do this? I don't seem to have the option...

FYI if you're like me and wondering why you're getting an error saying "This building cannot be painted", it has to be fully upgraded first.

I just watched a vid by Turin and he said you needed House upgrades 1 and 2. Then the paint option becomes available in Robin's shop. You don't need cellar upgrade to paint.
