golden coconuts

soo, i cracked one open.. got a golden walnut .. what are those for?
do all golden coconuts give you those? just some?

oh also, the new quest board at the mayor's house
every quest you complete, do you get a recipe after, or just for some quests?
(so far i completed 2 quests, and got 2 crafting recipes for new farm stuff thingys)

too answer your first question about the golden walnuts, there should be a ship in the back of willy's shop that you can repair. If you can repair it (it is very expensive) you will understand what the walnuts are for.

As for the new quest board, I think you get different rewards for each. I've only completed one so far (just started today). It was for Emily, had 7 days to complete, and the next morning she sent me a sewing machine in the mail. Not a recipe for a sewing machine; the actual item itself.

Golden Coconuts contain a couple of useful things. I got a Banana Tree seed from one!

you can also find them in the ground on the island from the wiggling roots

You can also purchase them from the Trade station on the island once you unlock it, on Saturdays and Sundays (that I know of so far). 1 Golden Coconut for 10 regular coconuts.
