Achievements bug
Hey all,

There are three achievements I've earned lately that haven't showed up in Steam. I'm not sure how to trigger them. I've tried verifying game files and reloading and starting up the game again but that hasn't worked. I believe Tristin has a fix located below but because I have my game files on a different drive (which shouldn't be an issue according to Steam) I'm missing the path that is suggested below on my C:drive in order to fix the issue. Any ideas?

I've added a link in guide:
https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Saves

If you are able to play the game with your save file, then you should be able to find the save file in corresponding path, supposedly. Otherwise idk :lunar2019grinningpig:

Tristin you're a lifesaver! That worked perfectly and I now have all my achievements. Weirdly I still couldn't trace my way back to that folder without using that search method. I'm still not sure where it's actually located haha! Thank you so much

ps: do you think a similar approach could work with other games that are having issues making them pop?

Slight issue with below

"*d. If you need Moving Up and Living Large unlocked:
d.a. ctrl+f search "<houseUpgradeLevel>". Accepted values are 1 to 3. Change it to 2
d.b. The next bracket right after will be <daysUntilHouseUpgrade>. Change the value from -1 to 1"

I used the wrong value. I assumed that Moving Up was 2 instead of 1. If the level is 1 what should <daysUntilHouseUpgrade> be? My house appears to be stuck between 2 and 3 somehow.

If they store achievement data locally in your computer, yes.

Please read the guide fully.
6.*4.d. If you've additionally done this part, achievement Moving up will be unlocked, but not Living Large. Sleep on bed, and Living Large will be unlocked

Appreciate the reply. I have read the guide but I haven't earned the Living Large achievement in the game. Only Moving Up!

Hmm two different results..

<daysUntilHouseUpgrade> is as stated, days it will take for house to be upgraded.
<houseUpgradeLevel> is the level of the house.
so <houseUpgradeLevel> 2, <daysUntilHouseUpgrade> 1 will upgrade house level to 3 after sleeping.

Try each values of <daysUntilHouseUpgrade> then..
<daysUntilHouseUpgrade> 0, then sleep on bed,
<daysUntilHouseUpgrade> 1, then sleep on bed.. so on.
Game version update may have changed the accepting value. In programming language, values generally start from 0, not 1. Previously only accepted 1 to 3.

Sorry, I don't think I'm explaining myself very well. I just wanted the Moving Up achievement by itself as I haven't gotten to the Living Large part of the game yet but now I have both, so my house is stuck between the two and it's bugged. It's not too much of a pain but would be nice to fix it. Really appreciate the help

You just need to play around with the values.

And as also suggested by my guide, you should have the backed up save data to revert to.
I'd recommend that you worry about achievement after you are done with the game.
