The game keeps telling me my Cherry Tree can't grow

But the tree is already grown, and it's producing fruit. There is no wood or stone or anything anywhere near the tree. Anyone else have this type of notice when there is nothing wrong with the tree?

When my cherry tree wouldn't grow, it turned out that the reason behind it was that a few trees were growing too close to it. For some reason sometimes when they're growing, they don't want any trees within three or four squares near them. Even when trying to plant them, I couldn't put them remotely near any other trees.

How many squares around it are free?

Also, check here's nothing also directly behind the tree that isn't showing. Have you run the hoe or mining pick over the ground directly behind the tree to make sure there's no acorns/pinecones/maple seeds in the ground behind it that it's detecting as an obstruction. Sometimes they're not very obvious, it might class as an obstruction if the tree is still trying to grow.

Those are the only two things I can think of off hand. If it's not those, someone will know better than me. Hope you figure it out! :)

There's 2 spaces in all directions and I did try the pick and the scythe and nothing. Owell, it's producing fruit, so I'm not worrying about it. :D Thanks for the reply.
