anyone out there know where tto get the Mermaids Pendants?

when it rains, go to the right side of the beach. there's a man standing there giving it to you

On the beach there is a plank on the right side that you have to build. Once that's built, when it's raining you can go to the right side of the beach and find a man in a sailor hat to the north. Talk to him and pay him a few thousand gold to get a mermaid pendant.

Hint for the future, if you want to avoid spoilers... Try checking out the books in the library. They give hints about all kinds of secrets, along with basic advice.

During the winter it doesn't rain but you can use the rain totem when the weather report says it's going to snow tomorrow. But you should know that the totem cannot make it rain on festivals or the first day of every season
