What to do with a sea cucumber?

By far the best use of the is to make a lucky lunch. It provides a rare luck boost, the second strongest in the game. Always try to have your luck boosted when doing stuff like exploring the Skull Cavern. The trick is to use a luck booster then eat only food that does not have other skill boosts that will over write your luck bonus while exploring.

Another notable luck food is spicy eel which grants much less luck but has a speed bonus as well. Speed and luck are two of the hardest and most important things to boost in this game. You get the lucky lunch recipe summer of year two from the TV cooking show. I think you need blue jazz and a tortilla (corn) as the other ingredients.
