Suggestion: Set custom date reminder

Pressing A in the calendar lets you set things like "harvest all crops" at the last day of the season, or a date for when your wine is ready, things like that.
i'm still debating in my head if this could actually as useful as i hope. what do you think?

that would be perfect for SV tbh. Also while we're at it, make it accessible anywhere, i don't think it'll hurt the gameplay

but maybe there's mod for that already? idk

edit: i know there's to-do-list mod but i think custom date reminder suits the game more, kinda old looking journal style would be awesome

Hey, what a coincidence, I thought about the same thing and made a SMAPI mod for it. Its name is Custom Reminders on Nexus mods, and it lets you choose the day, season and even the time the reminder will notify at.

It's pretty configurable and I think you might like it. Sry for the necro :P

Yes, the mod is actively developed/supported and mostly likely I will update it when 1.5 update is released if it needs fixing/improvements. I'm always listening to the comments on the nexus page, so feel free to tell me there if you like the mod or not, and if you would like new any features / support.

Tons of current features were originally user requested :D

Edit: and hey, it supports translations, so if you would like, you can also take 5 mins to translate like 5 string of words to add Spanish support, if you prefer using the mod in es and help out fellow es players who may be more comfortable in it.
