What's with the mouselag and how do I fix it?
Title says it all.

CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: Geforce GTX 960
Mouse: Zowie FK-1

Dont bother saying "Its cuz amd cpu" as I know for a fact its only this game, Terraria, and Starbound, all of which barely use any processing power of either CPU or GPU in comparison to games that will run with WAY less mouse lag.

Maybe it is the AMD? ...sry can't hold it ^^

Maybe the Mousedriver?

Zowie mice do not yet even use mouse drivers, let alone terrible sensors. My FK1 has a Pixart 3360 in it, and does not lag on the desktop, or in any game that I would consider playing competitively. I have tried to use a Logitech G403 as well and the game will still have mouse lag.

If it really is the fact that it's AMD then theoretically what would it be thats actually causing this? Either the game is badly optimized or there is something weird about the game not using more than 20% ever.

If this comment seemed rude or ♥♥♥♥-ish, I'm sorry about that. I've looked up the issue multiple times and still couldn't find a fix or anyone else having the same issues, or if they did someone went to the thread and just said "yeah me too!!" and the thread was left dead for eternity.

Thank you for your help.

It's bad CPU. Upgrade your stuff.

I know that it's a bad cpu but I don't have a free 400 - 500 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bucks laying around, plus typically with how games actually function it's not a CPU issue more a client side issue.

The game runs smooth with maybe a rare drop to 58-59 but doesn't even use more than 10% of my cpu, Quake 1 legitimately uses more for some reason. But with the FPS I'm getting there should be no issues with mouse lag, or the cursor should not be affected by fps AT ALL.

I don't understand why i would need a 500 dollar upgrade (including mobo) to get a lag less ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cursor, where ♥♥♥♥ games like WoW, SC, POE, and others will not have any lag affecting the ingame cursor even with 10 FPS.

@treatz have you tried right clicking stardew in task manager (ctrl + shift +esc) > properties> compatibility >change high dpi settings> override dpi settings (check the box) also disable fullscreen optimizations is usually a good idea

I think the "Override high DPI scaling behavior" may have helped a little bit, but if it did it's almost unnoticeable.

Thanks for the assistance!
