Gold star items

On my gold star summer spangle, the gold star is moving. Why is that happening?

My iridium star items kinda "throb", I haven't noticed gold star doing it. Odd.

I may have found out what's happening. I think it is moving because it's a...flower? I got a gold quality fairy rose after that and THAT was moving as well.

I may have found out what's happening. I think it is moving because it's a...flower? I got a gold quality fairy rose after that and THAT was moving as well.

Guess we should be on the lookout for moving star flowers, then.

I found out why it was happening. The star moves because it is the highest quality the item can get. For example, truffles and other forages have the iridium quality as their highest quality. Flowers can't have the iridium quality and have the gold quality as their highest quality. I checked the wiki and flowers don't have the iridum quality.
