Which game is more relaxing?
I have 38 euros on my wallet so Im looking for some relaxing survival game.
Should I buy Terraria or Stardew Valley?

Stardew by far. Terraria has too many metroid vania elements and nightly hoards to be relaxing.

Minecraft is like a good middle ground between terraria and stardew in terms of stress metrics.

There are less enemies to fight in the Valley, but more time pressure, at least for a while. So it depends on what you consider relaxing.

Relaxing? Stardew Valley. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely 100% love Terraria just as much but it can get pretty stressful at times, so as far as 'relaxing' goes I'd say Stardew Valley has a leg-up in that category.

Yeah I was thinking the same. Is Stardew Valley easy to understand at start?

stardew is easy to start but somtimes you gotta use the wiki. but terriria is harder to get used to off the star. btw if you play xbox terriaria look for posts people want to give you stuff

In my opinion stardew valley is a lot more relaxing and a bit easier but at one point in winter you start freaking out then you just don't care and then in terraria it is a little bit more challenging especially when you start out and don't know anything

Stardew Valley is more relaxing to me because since there are sooo many things to do, you are allowed if you want to just choose your favorite things to do. So all fun and no stress :)

Im still a new player, but i don't think there is any wrong way to play this game. I play mine just as a farmer making gold to buy the things i want. im not bothered about the time management or quests or story line. It took me 3 stardew valley years to get my sprinklers and jam making machines, but oh so fun now!! i have sprinklers and making alot of gold with jams/pickles !! So i have only been playing as a farmer, which is like 10% of what the whole game has to offer?

And when i get bored of that and have lots of gold, then i can go to something else the game offers :)

Terraria is the closest to a "survival game" between the two. So, I'd say Terraria. Stardew Valley is a lifestyle simulator (farming, fishing, mining, friendships, etc.) They're both relaxing in their own way but the nature of Stardew makes it the ultimate relax game. Terraria has more focus on adventure and combat. SD Valley is focused on farming and chilling.

When looking at two games that may share similar themes, it's preferable to try both, if possible.

Terraria did not make a good first impression on me, and I've never tried it again.

Stardew Valley, on the other hand, hooked me almost from the get-go, and has been very addictive.

But that's my experience - another person could have the complete opposite experience -- which is why I suggest trying both, if that's feasible.
