Few deeper questions about fishing ponds
ok tryed to get infos about the pond in the wiki, but many infos havnt flooded in it till now about this theme.
1 Fish is enove to reproduce, so far, so clear, but what is the rate of new fishs spawning? and is it linked to the maximum possible fishs in the pool (with the upgrades) or to the fishes currently in the pool?
and i read everywhere that ponds spit out several other resources exept of the fishes i pull out again with a fishing pool. how to get this other resources, do they come together with the fish i pull out?

i will try to make some eel production for spiced eel recipe, is one eel pond enove for steady eel income or do i need more then one pond to get enove fish for a proper amount for cocking?

You need 2 fish to produce eggs. 1 fish can produce a 2nd fish, however. Each pond has a "chum bucket" in the bottom right, and a little bubble will float over it when there's an item to gather - same as gathering bars from a furnace, or syrup from a tapper.

The wiki tells you how long it takes a fish to spawn. https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Fish_Pond#Quests
It says "Normal Spawn Frequency", followed by how often a new fish is spawned. Carp reproduce daily, squid every 3 days, etc.

You don't need to remove any fish from the pond, ever, to harvest items from it. The chum bucket will fill with eggs or other items. Typically, the more full the pond, the better the loot. According to the wiki, eel ponds produce 1 eel every 3 days, and have no extra loot.

hmm i seen and read the list like i sayed in the startpost, but because the cryptic listbuild i missinterpret some thing there i guess (not to mentation i needed to use the english one because in the german the pond is noneexistant till now). i guess the "produced" eels first land in the pool until it is full? because i already passed 6 days and all i got is the eels in the pool gone from the one i thrown in to 2, without anything in the bucket till now.

hmm never got an eel as harvesst till now (pond was several days at 5/5 and no quest for extension and not a single harvest eel) , something is fishy with this ponds. guess there are more bugs around them than only the list in the wiki that names some pond problems with 1.4.3.

A lot of things in the game has to pass a "check" - like what quality produce you get when harvesting (regular - silver - gold), or if you get a second item (potatoes, or geodes when mining).
Same with ponds - every morning it goes through check to determine if it will produce anything and if yes - what exactly (if it can produce more than 1 type of item), and same with quest when your pond is full (not if you already have 10 fishes - that the max amount). The more fishes you have in the pond the higher probability that you get something.
Wiki page (at least in English) has a really good tables with both requirements for quests and production.
However, you never get fish as a produced item - you have to fish them out of the pond with your fishing rod. You don't need bait nor tackle for this, and there's no mini-game - you just catch a fish right away.
According to wiki eel reproduces every 3 days - that means you can fish 1 of them out every 3 days (or get out all of them but 1 and wait for it to fill again).
So depending on your need for eel - 1 pond might be enough, or you might need 2 or 3, all depends on how many eels you need in a day.
I just save my rubies and buy spicy eel from desert trader, or from Gus when it's rotating in stock.

I think you're misunderstanding. You need to manually fish the eels out of the pond if you want eels. The ponds will produce eggs and other items in the chum bucket, but if you want the actual fish, you need them to reproduce over time, and then fish them out of the pond.

well in your first post you sayed i never need to do so, when i sayed i need to do so to get the eels, so what now kinda, make up your mind :)

they seriously need to revamp this wiki pond page, becasue it reads as if at least i woud get all few days one fish. like i already sayed, its very cryptic.

so when this reproduction rate only counts for the filling of the pond, than ponds are no stable source of multiple fishs for cooking as exmple, because you can fish out only a few, cripple the ponds production chance with that, and need to wait a long time until the pond repopulates.
so much to my plans for producing eels for cooking i guess, looks like im better of with lava eels that give me by chance what i want to cook with the normal ones.

Is English not your first language, maybe? The wiki is pretty clear in how the ponds work...

If you want fish, the fish reproduce every few days, and you fish them out.

If you want money, you need at least 2 fish in the pond, and every few days fish eggs and other items will appear in the chum bucket. (Blobfish can produce pearls, lava eels can produce magma geodes, etc.)

I don't see anything in the wiki suggesting you would need 2 fish. One fish will also reproduce and fill the pond with more fish.

kinda goes for the second list i guess, where it tells you how many fish you need minimum that something gets in the bucket, he dont speak abou getting fish out of the pond.
