Grass starter recipe

Apologies if I'm being stupid but I can't for the life of me find the recipe (1.4 added the recipe for grass starter apparently?). I've read that I get it from Pierre's but I've been checking daily and nothing.

I need it for the master craft achievement. I'm in year 3, post CC and I can't find any info online.

Help? TIA :)

Pierre sells it directly beneath the actual grass he sells.

Thanks - but it literally is not appearing on my list anywhere? Do you have to do something to trigger it being available?

I recall buying it pretty early, late spring/early summer but I am not sure if you need any farming levels to trigger it. If you do it would be a pretty low bar for the trigger. There are only a few other things that I can think of that might be causing the issue:
1. Are you running the most recent version of the game?
2. Have you verified your game files by going into the game properties?
3. Are you running any mods? A lot of times mods are the root of all evil, at least for game weirdness. :)

No trigger necessary--it should be available on day one of your first Spring. As ehyder said, if you're using mods, one of them is most likely the culprit. Following ehyder's suggestions should get you sorted.
