How do I buy chickens/animals?

So I have bought the chicken Coop but I don't know where to buy the actual chickens/any kind of an animal.

I googled this and someone said go talk to Marnie at her ranch. Well I did and nothing happened.

Note: This is a noob question, I know. No reason to get angry for me asking this.

You can buy a chicken by Marnie thats right. Purchase Animals, when you speak with her and then you actually can buy a chicken.
I forgot ... NOT directly speak with Marnie, you must stand before the Bar and then talk to her

You can look up marnie on the wiki and it will list her schedule so you know when she will be selling things.

Man learning to click on the register in this game is a skill. and trying not to hate the NPC's who aren't 'in office' when you head over there is also a skill.

So many rpg's spoiled me by basically having 24hr or 16 hr work days, I'm not used to this whole 'LMAO U ONE MINUTE LATE? SRY IM NOT AT THE REGISTER ROFLMAO SEE U TOMORROW GET REKT' kind of treatment lol.

It's just odd to me that if a farm or a shop says "OPEN XX.AM - XX.PM" the owner has just randomly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off or taking a walk outside, like ♥♥♥♥♥ you aren't open then.

I guess I could read it in a wiki or something when they ♥♥♥♥ off but why can't they just tell it in game lol.

and if you have like 2 or 3; you might get lucky with teh witch turning one fo them into a void chicken. this happened to me in my first year. lol... I been makin dat void mayonaiise like on the regular you know.

They are the chickens of the void who lay void eggs which can then be made into void mayonaise for void profit.

Other than that they are normal chickens.
