How to use casks in your cellar?
I've trying to put fruit inside it, but nothing is happening, it's not wiggling like my kegs do.

So what did I do wrong?

So you put "product" inside cask, k got it.

Been trying to put wheat, hop, stuff like such inside cask, but nothing happened.

Yeah, casks take an artisan good and increase its worth. So if you have 500 cranberry wines, and 20 starfruit wines, you might want to age the starfruit for the value increase.

Or you can age all of it, starting with the starfruit of course for the best profit soonest.

you can do two batches of 125 per year as they take 2 months to age wine.

so you can double the value of 250 starfruit wine, with artisan that means the casks add 787,500 per year.

but you can't age 'all' of it. just 250 per year.
I agree that it's still a lot of work for not much profit in comparison, but you can actually fit 189 casks. You will fill the entire cellar and not be able to step further than the stairs until you pick up the casks (once you've removed the wine), but you can fit 189 casks, and process 378 bottles of wine a year.

That's all well and good when you are managing a year 6 farm with high productivity, but when you're starting out you go for whatever will maximize your profit on as many items as you can, and only then sell off the excess, or save it for next year and grow something other than cranberries, or not farm at all and fish, run the mines, or whatever.

Do you realize that you can place casks outside of the cellar as well, you can more or less fill de desert / quarry and many of the other areas with casks as well as long as you make sure that you keep the walking routes open.

That is a lot of casks

(if you do this i do recommend the Automate mod on the Nexus, this makes it a lot simpler and more space efficient to manage)

EDIT!!!: Ehh i just found out that you can only use the casks outside of the cellar if you use the Automate mod so you are correct that in vanilla SV you cant use them outside of the cellar as it seems to prevent you from placing items in the casks, automation seems to work around that it seems.
