Way to trigger having a baby in player + player marriage?
Right after our house got upgraded, it asked and we both said yes, but later that in-game day, a crash or something made us have to restart the day. It didnt ask him the question this time, and as time passed, no baby. We haven't been asked again, so I'd like to know if theres any way to speed it up.

Later that in-game day? I thought the question only popped up at the end of the day.

It does.

Sorry if I didnt make timeline clear.

Night of the 21st: Game asks me if I want a baby. I say yes.
Morning of 22nd: Game asks him for confirmation.
Afternoon of 22nd: Game crashes and we have to restart the day.
(Redo of) Morning of 22nd: Game doesn't ask him for confirmation.

And then no baby ever appeared so..

Hmm. I wasn't aware the question gets asked to the other person the next day. That seems a bit of an odd choice on CA's account.

You were asked first, right? Which one of you is the host?

I am the host and was asked first (Note: I also did propose to him, so I dont know exactly what the basis is for who gets asked first). I don't see why that's strange though (besides maybe not asking both partners that night). It does need confirmation from both partners.

Why he didn't get asked again though is beyond me. I'm fairly certain that the game waited for my answer, went to the normal screens (where it shows how much you made and stuff), and THEN saved the game.

Yeah, it seemed strange to me because you were not both asked the first night.

I think what's happening is the game loads up in single player until your farmhand joins, at which point I assume it's already past the point he would be asked. So the game either treats it as if you never asked him, or that he said no.

Assuming it is based on the single-player child chance, though (which makes the most sense as those calculations are already in the game), I do have some good news. Saying no doesn't mean no forever, and there should be a 5% chance every night that you get the question again. If you want to get it as quickly as possible, I recommend waiting until there's a rainy day (or winter) and you don't have anything you need to do during the day. Make sure you're both in the game, then immediately go to bed and skip the day. If you don't get the question, close the game and try again (before the game saves). On an average of 20 tries, you should get the question (note that probability doesn't mean you'll get it in 20 tries, you might get it on the third try or your 100th, but eventually you'll get it). Or just keep playing and you'll be asked eventually.

Alrighty. 5% seems so low. :c It'd be nice if there was a way to make it happen. Thanks though :D Ill just keep waiting then.

Someone else said in NPC marriages, you could give them bouquets to make your partner ask faster. This is the first time I've gotten this far in the game, so i have no clue about that. Do you happen to know if thats true or if it might work in this situation if it is true?

It's just a type of tiger stone. You know, buy this stone because it protects against tigers - I've never been attacked by a tiger while in possession of it. I guess someone decided to try it on a whim and by chance the 5% proc happened on the same day, and then they decided that "if I did X and Y happened, then clearly X leads directly to Y". There's also rumors about holding down when going to bed, holding up, holding A+B on the controller, you name it. But it really just comes down to a checklist of are you married? Do you have a house with a nursery? Do you have at least 10 hearts with your spouse (this check obviously omitted in player-to-player marriages)? Have you been married for more than 7 days? If you have a child already, is it only one child and is it a toddler (most grown-up stage)? If the answer to each of these checks is "yes", then there's approximately a 5% chance per night that the option will become available.

A simple no would've worked, but thanks, I suppose. Also, I don't think we were married for seven days when it originally asked us so... either it glitched, I'm wrong, or that was changed.
