Will farmhands get their own pet?

I wish they could get their own pet and maybe add more event or stuff that involves pet.

Farmhands are just helpers or spouse to the host (depending on the play and people involved) they won't get their own pet. lol

Because having 4 "pets" getting in the way sounds like a blast.

You share the pet. Just like you share the farm. Does every person in your household have their own designated cat and dog?

I think I'm starting to understand people's mentality in this forum. They seem to believe that the multiplayer is like SB or Terraria where everyone have their own independancy and all that...

In SV, the host is who matters the most (well not really but technically) and people joining him will be about able to have the same advantage... Buuut not as much. No equality. Leader > others.

Yea, my family has 2 dogs and 1 cat. 1 dog is my dad's, 1 is mine, the cat is my mom's.

Yep, like i said. No Equality. Pretty much like the Makeshift MP Mod but just a tiny bit better. And it took 2.5 years to make while the mods takes only a few months.

it would probably be difficult to program 4 pets I guess especially since there's only one pet bowl and I'm not sure what space the other bowls would take up, and the single pet is already glitchy enough in multiplayer

I do agree the pet is pretty useless though

What? you dont like me giving an opinion? But it's true, the MP isn't that great. He could have made it better but he chose the easy way and it took 2.5 years.
If you are satisfied with the state of MP now, ,its your choice. But me? Nope, i'm not satisfied with it.

Then why not make everything shared? All i wanted is for my friend to have their own pet and maybe a pet race event or something like that. But noooooo, im wrong and want thing all to myself. Like really?

I could always state that my opinion is that clouds are not really white but blue, doesn't really make it relevant in the current discussion. The multiplayer is objectively better than the MP mod, no contest. The only issue would be the bugs. Between alpharever mod or soonreleasedbeta...

All it needs is bug fixing and some shape up. What did you expect? Stardew valley MMO? =/

At any rates. Your idea is harmless but the problem currently is how SV works. It's entirely focused on the host. The farmhand don't have nearly as much "space" for themselves. They at least have a freaking cabin but that's a building built by robin and nothing much else. So yeah...

At some extent, I'll accept that the beta might look lazy but there's a lot more stuff inside it. It's just maybe the execution. Clearly, nobody has as much importance as the host in this context. Imagine, when SV announced multiplayer, I hoped it was like Starbound since it;s same devs...
