Quest bugs in multi player

Mayor's shorts quest only showed in host mail, not farm hand
Robin's Axe only showed in host mail, however the farm hand could see the axe in Cindersap Forest but was unable to pick it up, host then picked up 2 axes even though host had completed quest.

Farmhand will get the quests soon. Sometimes it just takes a while. Is there more than 2 players in the game?

No only two and the mayor's shorts was supposed to have triggered on the 2nd of summer and we're almost finished with summer and still no quest. Robin's was in the spring and still no trigger. They mayor's shorts are not in Marnie's bedroom, either.

Are you sure the farmhand is actually checking the mail by the host's house? If they are, then quests do kind of go randomly for farmhands. At least that's what I've experienced so far. And er.. not sure what to say about the shorts not being there.
