Multiplayer marriage

Does anyone know how marriage works in co-op? if we both have a different npc what will happen, will both of them live on the farm?

The spouse of the farmhand SHOULD live in the cabin with the farmhand (which they will need to upgrade, by the way, if they haven't already). Be warned that some people have been saying one of the spouses disappeared (I think someone said Haley disappeared about a month after she moved to the farm), so be prepared for weird glitches like that.....

I've been wondering what happens with the farmhands spouses area outside. (didn't find any clue on the web yet)
Doesn't sound too good that there's a chance that the spouse will likely disappear o.o since there's not even a police station where you can mark them as missing 🤣😅

Maybe the major thinks, it's all rainbows and butterflies in pelican town and that there's no need for cops xD

The town has like 30 people in it. Why would there be a cop there? Likely they rely on the cops in ZuZu City which seems to be fairly close by. As for Sam's community service, it was probably an unofficial thing that the mayor handed out and his parents made him go along with it.
