what can i do with dressed spinner ?

is it an item that activates inside your inventory or do u need a rod with it.. i can't put it in my fiberglass rod :(

You need the iridium rod to use them. The fiberglass has only the space for bait, not those thingies (forgot their name in English, sorry).
