I want someone to try something
so, as you may know, when mayor lewis loses his shorts, you find them in marnies room and usually return them to him

however you are able to put them on the grange display at the stardew valley fair, and get aa special outcome from it,

now to the point, with the 1.3 beta that has just come out, there is a secret note that leads you to a golden statue of mayor lewis, hidden behind his house, a replica of a solid gold mayor lewis statue at least. i wanted someone to try and see if you could put the replica of the statue in the grange display and see if there is a new cool outcome from it.

the reason i dont do it myself is 1: its spring in my game
2: i havent got the magnifying glass, so thats 3 seasons before i can get the maginifying glass so its going to take a while

You cant place it in the grange display.

You can however place it in the center of town, to which Lewis sends you a very stern letter, and the statue is removed (and you lose it)

Can we have the option to overthrow lewis and become mayor ourselves please

somehow coming up with the funds to comission a solid gold statue of himself, which im assuming the taxpayers helped a lot with, but at the same time is unable to restore the community center? Tut tut

Schmoozing around with marnie is one thing, but glorious leader lewis better watch his back because I know every single one of his dirty little secrets

He didn't have funds to repair the bus either...just what ARE the people of Pelican town getting for their tax dollars?

Placing it in public will cause Lewis to pay for your silence and he removes it,
however he puts it back in his bedroom so you can actually go and get it back.

I'm wondering if something else would happen if you did it again

I'm not sure about all of you, but my farm hasn't been taxed a penny...

Yeah Mayor Lewis seems corrupt he lets so much of the town fall into disrepair. The bus, the minecarts, the boulder, the community center and both bridges. Of course that's if the towns people are taxed who knows the players might be taxed and it just doesn't appear cause of how transactions work. I don't care about his fling with Marnie but yeah being corrupt and going out of your way to avoid your mayor duties is scummy he's at the bar alot or chatting up Marnie
