Any tips for combat in the mines and them magic forest?

In the mean time i'll watch some tutorials. I've got a wooden sword so i'm not that far.
Can't get past mine lvl 10 without taking a lot of damage.

It's not really a problem since i buy most of my ores anyway, except the bronze that is..
But it would be nice if i got a little better at it.

Or is it really not deeper than trying to push a slime against a wall and fast clicking left click?

And is the throwback ring usefull? Cus now i have a ring that increases range for picking up things and the other one i bought at the adventure shop but i forgot wat it was... think defense..

Do you get better weapons by going downstairs or by killing monsters?

Swarm can start as early as lv15, as soon as you see wasp or grubs. Lv15-39 wasp swarm, lv40-79 bat swarm, lv80-120 vampire bat swarm.
Going down the mine unlocks different resources of ores(buying ore is really not worth it, trust me), the boxes and barrels in the mine will give random gears or gems. About every 20 lvl you get a reward. The best reward here is lv80(obisidian sword), lv100(stardrop) and lv120(skull key). Skull key can unlock skull cavern in the desert, where you can get iridium ores.

My best suggestion about exploring the mine is: Fortune Teller. Everyday before you go out, check the TV for weather report and Fortune Teller. There are 6 stats of your fortune, only go when it tells you "The spirits are very happy today!", "I think you'll have a little extra luck.", or "The day is in your hands." You luck affects the chance of finding ladder to next floor in the mine, which usually decides how far you can go in one day. On a lucky day, you may desend twice the lvl than on an unlucky day.

And is it worth it to get further down than lvl 80ish ? Cus you get gold there..

And how do you get a lot of coal? Ironically i have more ores than coal..

Yeah, as mentioned, it's the best to go down to 120 for stardrop and skull key.

Coal is very tricky to obtain, and it's quite expensive with 10 woods. One thing I do is to hunt dust sprite at 40th floor. In a good day, you can obtain 20+ coals in one day.
