Glitched-out mountain peak

In SDV's files, there is a mountain peak. It is unused, the only way to get to it is to either go out of bounds, or make a mod, leaving it causes the player to get stuck, and it uses tiles from Leah's cottage. There is also a mod that fixes it, and adds a way to get to it. It also uses the background from the earnings screen. It originally had a cabin on it, so maybe Linus was living on it.

Yeah, it was a location CA abandoned. It might come back in an update but until then... just a random fun area to glitch into if you wish.

There is actually a mod that restores it, along with the unused space in the railroad map.

I really want to know why CA abandoned the mountain peak.

Perhaps there would be one of the hidden boxes there? It was either for an event, or it had a secret, and there could have been a telescope there.
The reason why you can see santa there is because it uses the same background used for the earnings screen.

I think that cabin was either gonna belong to Leah, Linus, or be the Adventurer's Guild.

Maybe Maru's telescope cutscene would've been there instead, but... I guess he just felt it was too out of the way. Where even would the entrance be? Is it in the mountains or the train station or what?

It is in the train station, and it isn't a cabin. It's a mountain peak, using tiles from Leah's cottage.

Yeah, but originally there was a cabin there. Dunno where I saw it but I've seen images - I guess from the beta before the game was released?

Okay. I didn't know that. I'll add it to the main post. I'm sure that it once had it's own tiles, then Leah's cottage replaced the tiles. That would explain why the tiles are from Leah's cottage.

There's more info in the guide I made, and no, it's not a house expansion, because you access it from the railroad and its filename is "Peak".
